" Life was really starting to overwhelm me. My mobility was getting worse, and for a year and a half I was traveling daily to visit my son in long-term care. I finally realized I needed to be closer to him, so I began looking at a CCRC where we could be in the same community. That meant selling my 3-bedroom rancher, the home I had lived in for more than 40 years.
